She is passionate in helping students achieve excellence so they can go out into the world with confidence in themselves.

2017-2018 chosen to serve as Interim Superintendent at Scottsdale Unified School District for a few months while a state teacher walk-out took place. Under her leadership, the district remained focused and confident, withstanding all barriers and challenges presented during a difficult transition.
In 2015-2016 while Superintendent at Florence Unified School Distric (FUSD), she led a partial consolidation, the only successful in AZ up to that time. She obtained over $100 Million in assets, 3 fully furnished schools, and 40% of their M&O.
2014-2016 at FUSD, Dr. Fuller exponentially decreased expenditures by 33% with minimal student, school or district impact.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Dr. Amy Perez Fuller is a seasoned administrator with an incredibly diverse career background and over 26 years of experience. She holds a Doctoral Degree from Arizona State University in Education Administration and Supervision and two Master Degrees from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She is certified by the Arizona Department of Education as a teacher, principal, and superintendent. She has served in top leadership roles for private and public districts. Those roles include: Interim Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for The Scottsdale Unified School District, Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for the Florence Unified School District, a leader in technology. She served at FUSD for a total of 11 years. Prior to that she worked at Educational Management Group in Scottsdale, AZ as an Education Leader producing and conducting interactive distance learning programs in many areas in and out of the US. She also worked in Region IV in San Antonio Texas as a Distance Learning Educator. Dr. Fuller is bilingual in English and Spanish. Her passion has always been brining excellence to wherever she goes.
WHAT HER COLLEAGUES SAY
Dr. Fuller has had many accomplishments during her tenure. One of the most recent (and in my opinion, one of the most significant) accomplishment was the partial consolidation with another local school district, which was finalized in November of 2015. To our knowledge, a partial consolidation had not previously occurred in Arizona. Dr. Fuller successfully collaborated with the other school district, State agencies, attorneys, community members and others throughout the process. As a result, the District began the 2016-2017 school year with a new high school and an additional K-8 school. In addition, a previously closed school was reopened, and the District received two pieces of property for future school sites. Her innovative approach to grow our District was passed by 77% . The consolidation would simply not have been possible without Dr. Fuller’s competent and tireless efforts on the District’s behalf.
